PTFE flat sealing tape has pro­ven to be excel­lent for sealing flan­ges on appa­ra­tus, ves­sels, housings, pumps and gear covers. Due to its soft struc­tu­re, the tape adap­ts per­fect­ly to uneven­ness and inden­ta­ti­ons on sealing sur­faces. The one-sided adhe­si­ve strip ser­ve as an assem­bly aid for fixing the tape during instal­la­ti­on.

Elas­to­mer pro­files are pro­du­ced by extru­si­on with mouth­pie­ce tools. The rub­ber compund is pres­sed through the mouth­pie­ces and thus recei­ves its requi­red shape. The pro­files have to be vul­ca­ni­zed after­wards, i. e. refi­ned under the influ­ence of tem­pe­ra­tu­re to a com­pact and elastic com­pound

Mol­d­ed parts are pro­du­ced by injec­tion mol­ding in com­plex tools. The rub­ber mix­tu­re is injec­ted into the tool under high pres­su­re.
